Market thing

Yesterday we went on the Greek market kind of, type of thing. this Street market style event takes place every Tuesday from the morning until siesta time. ( coz its so hot! today i.e. 39 degrees!!)

Market.. as per The Market of Serres was quite amazing for my eyes. Greeks and probably Russians and gipsies sell their stuff on the streets. Mainly Fruits and vegetables, but also clothes, tools, swimming suits, shoes and toys.

When we got their Ola started asking about the free stuff, and she got quite an amazing collection of not so bad apples, melons and apricots. Wow. Good Job girl! thanks for this wonderful fruit salad for the dinner (supper)

Also there was this strange situation where I wanted to buy a kilo of oranges for the price of one Euro.
so.. this Russian styled dude, gives me the bag for them, for me to put some of witch I want inside. ( I <3 this, my kind of grammar :D ) so this dude goes on the scale, he weights them and gives them to me, saying the price in Greek ( witch obviously I don't know that well to understand) so I give him 2 euro coin.. because it was my last one. and he goes.. he puts it in his cash and /... thats it!.. but I still wait for my 1 Euro change - coz I got a huge plan of buying some strawberries or cherries with it. so the dude looks at me.. and I tell him. One kilo parakalo (please) he takes the oranges again.. goes on the scale.. weights them.. takes one (of 4) out.. and brings me 50 cents. I mean come on. so i take another one out.. and I show him the 50 cent to give me back.. he takes the orange, and .. wait for it.. he changes it for another one!! Incredible!! ;) so I start showing him that I dont like this.. but .. the girls came and started to shout at me that there is no time and shit.. so .. I.. took the orange and the 50 cent.. so now i have 3 oranges and no strawberries. Katja though got some cherries so it is not that bad :)

Later that day I cut my hair and prepared myself for the freakin Poland - Russia game. and man.. I got the broadcast thru the internet this time. I had polish speakers. Cool.. everything was cool before the buffering started - the first half was horrible. and Russians were winning. I could not continue this agony. I was shouting and saying a lot of ' Ku*wa!') than I figured that polish team is not doing too well. Started searching for their problems, analysis and pure logic tells me that either they just don't know how to play, either Russians were just too good for them.. either the 3rd option. what is the 3rd option you ask? Well to be honest I think they are overpowered by thinking about their opponents like.. too much, and they actually fear them, instead of appreciate the opportunity and take it. Of course it is also about the skill.. but this comes second. Fun, fun, fun is the most importante - not forgetting about it. Italians are having fun, spanish having fun - and they win - polish - I don't think they know how to have fun - they kind of try not too loose the game. so far they are good in this.
might be they are stressed? I don't know.
