Greek Lessons

Also this week I started learning Greek.. for real. with a teacher.
Katja and I am the class. as per The Class, Our teacher is awesome.. and the Greek itself is not that easy. It is in grammar a bit similar to Polish. Has a lot of rules and it's own orthography which is not that easy...

Greek alphabet is different, it is a type of Cyrillic? I think someone told me that actually a Cyrillic ( Russian) is made exactly out of Greek alphabet. They have just a little bit different letters. for example Polish "w" is Greek "o" and other. It is for the beginning complicated of course.. but than you get used to it and it gets clearer and clearer. Also our teacher tells us a lot about the Greek Country, so we gain knowledge about them and their language at the same time, which is pretty cool.
for example.. in Greece Schools, their scoring system is formed like 1 to 10 where 1 is very bad.. and 10 is excellent, But they say 10 is for the God, 9 is for the teacher, 8 is for the mentor and so on.. the best you can get is 7,  and also 6.. than, when you got 5 to 1 .. you can not pass exam, you can not get a degree. So you see it is different in all countries.

Also - Katja can not say Sigma ( as for the S letter) she says Zigma haha..
and I have a problem with Theta (TH) (it is O with a line inside) and Delta.. also pretty hard to be said properly.

The lessons are very cool, and today they were for almost 3 hours, where we've learned also the numbers.

Just Greek It!

And today I got shitloads to do.

So I just wanted to write about the beach that we were on :) Our friend Stamatis took me and Katja on the see side. Stamatis is a man with which we create some comedy spots for the radio. sooo we went to the beach.

 I Had some food. :) water melon, water and.. of course the bread with eggs

 The I was divin a little bit....

 and I've found this bag in the sea :O

 So I did not like it and got more hungry..

 went for this Gyros Pita..

 and this THING I found on my arm... they say is The horse of holly mary.. but I never found any information about this in the internet.. adn this is not Mantis .. what is it?

 than we got back on the beach.. And I made this photo for Katja ;)

 changed my undies!! and went to the sea again .. and back

 and relax on the sand - this is how you sit in Greece.

The sea is hot, inside out.. I take colder water in the shower.. than it actually is in the sea. you can sit in it all the time, it is not so refreshing as a colder ones.. and I kind of.. miss the Baltic now.. and cold ocean.. aaaaaa.. wearing a swimsuit is very nice :) and looks cool too :)

Serres Olimpic Games Pictures

      Also at the Saturday morning we had to go for this small Olympic games session. I was there just for uno momento, so I just made a pictures and vanished.. coz It waz zo Hot!! i went to da Beach! ;)

The Game Night.

Well it all begins at the evening, when I decided to give my camera another shot..

I gave it another chance and the pictures are a lot better.. still needs to learn a lot though :)
The game Greece Germany we have seen in a tavern.. In a typical Greek tavern. On the way I took some pictures :) I like them :) as you can see.. some of them were very blurred so I decided to photo shop them a little bit.

On the game.. we have all been invited by a Greek girl named Eleni. She invited us for souvlaki to her boyfriend's tavern. When we got there, our table was already gone.. and the place was full of people willing to see Greece winning the game!! It was funny, because Katja is German.. Eleni was Greek and I.. kind of host ;) Polish. So there, when the Germans put first score - there was no reaction at the Greeks. Nothing. Peace. But than when Greece scored.. everybody got up.. shouting, and screaming.. also clapping hands ;) that was the most beautiful moment of the evening. And than.. even MORE!! reply.. action reply.. and another another and another.. That is.. when there was an action reply all Greeks was cheering just as it would happen live ;) It was so Cool. and than.. of course there was more goals from Germans, and eventually as you know already, Greece have lost the game BUT they believed, they cheered to the last second it could be won!!  amazing.

and than.. after the game..  we went to das Kindergarden where I was jumping a little bit. 

and than.. we went fur das Ice Creamerzz essen. ;) Germans vs Italians.. soon.. soon. ;)

oups.. I almost forgot we Have also went to the akropolis ( the highest city place) but I did not took my tripod so the picture is shit.. ;) next time than ;)

Kilada at night - Big Greek Night Out

The Kilada is a small valley in the city of Serres. There are swimming pools and bars on this street. What is interesting? perhaps a pub outside! Very cool place. Mixalis.. our Greek friend took us on a Greek Night Out. On the way there, I had a small occasion for making some pictures during the night. Unfortunately I am still learning making pictures so .. most of them where useless without paint shop. thats whats left from them.. and a couple nice ones are from a camera, that is much more.. easier to use ;)

We got to pub/bar around 11 o'clock in the night, and still there was a lot of places. Lots of them was reserved for people. We sat down behind the bar. I ordered coca cola - and.. they asked me for a 5 Euro for it. it was unusual so I asked why it is so expensive. They said it's because of the party ( there was a party with a posters) Every drink was 5 Euro.. weird.. but they gave away water for free so it was Cool :), I had 5 bottles of water than :) water in Greece is for free - everywhere :) it is cool :)


ooh There was a freakin Vodka Wyborowa at the bar. Bartenders from time to time were having a shot or two.



around 00.00 more people got to the party, but they were just talking, and cheering, not drinking too much alcohol. Than there was a lot of music.. good music, and I mean.. loud.. very loud music, but I did not see anyone dancing. So.. as we all were sitting undear this huuuuuge speaker.. we decided to finish sitting in this pub about 1.00 in the night.

Than we went for little picture taking during the night.. and here are the results :*
